My younger brother Thomas was in a terrible car accident on April 21st. He is lucky to be alive and I pray his miraculous recovery continues.

You can keep track of his progress through CaringBridge.

Please say a prayer on his behalf.

Slash

Music No Comments

Been reading a lot of good press lately about Slash’s new self-titled album releasing Tuesday, April 6th here in the US. This is his first true solo endeavor. Lots of great guest vocalists, like Ozzy, Iggy Pop, Chris Cornell, and Fergie. I have always found the musicality of Slash’s playing to be a welcome stand out among the hoard of hard rock guitar heroes.

Akira Kurosawa

Video No Comments

Today marked the 100th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa’s birth.
His influence on western cinema can be seen from Star Wars to Hoodwinked.

You can learn more about his work at Wikipedia.
Seven Samurai, Hidden Fortress, and Ran are among my favorite films of all time.
